About the Flax Pond Digital Library

The Flax Pond Digital Library is maintained by the Earth Science Educational Resource Center, under the administration of the Mineral Physics Institute at Stony Brook University in order to foster education and research focused on salt marshes. The images in this collection may be copied and used freely, provided that the user cites proper attribution information with the image. The citation must state that the image is from the Flax Pond Digital Library and must include the additional information contained in the attribution field that accompanies the image. If a reference accompanies the image in the database, it must also be cited.
