This juvenile diamondback terrapin, 1" long, was found in Flax Pond on May 4, 2006 by two Friends of Flax Pond volunteer citizen scientists, Frank Chin and Chris Clotworthy. The Diamondback Terrapin study has begun in Flax Pond and
volunteer watchers are needed to help the researchers. Call 941-9404 for
